Philosophers, writers, great teachers, religious leaders of every persuasion, they’ve all tried to convey lessons like this down through the ages. Sometimes with great success, sometimes less so. And sometimes writers have used animal analogies, as in Aesop’s Fables, which have been particularly successful. But even so, you’d hardly expect to see a real-life version of one of those stories.
