The secret to manifestation

There’s a sure-fire way to get what you want in life, and it’s this: be specific about exactly what it is that you want, and then make it your mission to give it away. I know, sounds a bit crazy … you want more money in your life (let’s say) so you should give more money away? Yeah, that’s exactly right! It doesn’t have to be an enormous amount, just enough to get things moving. You’ll soon find that this odd system isn’t just some unrealistic philosophical equation, it actually works. And when you do … when the realisation really sets in … you’ll want to give more and more money away.

Because you’ll know that the more generous you are with your money, the more will flow into your life. You may not be able to explain it, or even understand it, because the way these things operate is often so complicated and seemingly unlikely that you will probably have a hard time not calling it all a coincidence. But when it happens with some regularity you’ll have no option to become a believer!

Manifest more money in your life

I mention money first because, quite honestly, who doesn’t want more money in their life? We all do! And there’s nothing wrong with that. Money isn’t a bad thing. You could argue that it’s perfectly neutral actually, since it can be used for positive purposes or the direct opposite. In that sense it’s like a knife; in the hands of a criminal it can become a weapon, but in the hands of a surgeon it can perform life-saving miracles.

For most people, though, money is actually a good thing. Most people are never going to use money for evil purposes. Most people will just make use of the renewed flow of money to increase their standard of living and to feel better generally. And that can only be a good thing. And once you realise it’s appearing in your life because you’ve started to be freer with what money you have, you will naturally want to give more of it away.

It works with everything, not just money

But the same principle holds true for whatever it is you want. You want more fun in your life? Well, make a start by taking every opportunity to create fun times and fun activities. This will generate a flow of fun in your life super quick, and if you like what you get you’ll naturally want to become known far and wide for being a fun character, so you’ll redouble your efforts.

Maybe you want more appreciation in your life. Maybe you feel people barely recognise the good things you do and you’d really like to be more appreciated. I know it’s obvious what I’m going to say now, but anyway, here goes: make it your mission to recognise the opportunities all around to appreciate others. If someone does something good, don’t just think to yourself that you really appreciate what they’ve done … make it plain you appreciate it, become freer with your compliments and your kind words.

Thank people warmly for their contribution, show your appreciation, make it very obvious how much you value the good things people do. And you will inevitably be on the receiving end of heaps of appreciation.

Do you yearn for more warmth and comfort in your life, the feeling that others really care about you? Don’t wait for it to magically happen without doing something about it. And the something you need to do is just to show you care, offer kind words, offer support, be there for your friends and for anyone who needs some TLC. Become known as someone who is caring, compassionate, and a true friend. Reach out and help not just your friends but anyone you come across who might benefit from the warm hand of friendship.

Karma doesn’t care

And you can be sure that by the law of reciprocation (or karma, if you like) you will soon be on the receiving end of more warmth and comfort in your life than you ever thought possible. When the chips are down, or even when things are going pretty smoothly, you’ll find that others will be more friendly, more supportive, and more comforting towards you.

This law applies all the time, in all areas of your life. In that, it’s like the law of attraction. In fact where one law ends and the other begins is a very indistinct place. The law of reciprocation and the law of attraction are almost the same thing. As you demonstrate what you want, by creating it in other people’s lives, you can be sure that one way or another that thing you want (and are giving away) is heading for you, and probably faster and in greater quantities than you ever expected.

It always works – it’s a law!

Most of us are not as expressive as we could be. We’re not naturally free with compliments. We don’t usually grab every available opportunity to help people out. This is a learned behaviour. Because most people act that way we tend to copy what we see. It might feel over-the-top to shower people with compliments. It might feel like we’re putting on an act at first. It might even feel like it’s taking an almost superhuman effort to change the habits of a lifetime, but take it from me, it’s worth making the change.

Like I said with money, it doesn’t have to be a huge amount to get things moving. Same with compliments – just drop the occasional compliment into your natural speech pattern and see what happens. It will quickly start to feel perfectly natural! And once you feel that it’s being reciprocated, you’ll feel the urge to ditch the habits of a lifetime and take on the mantle of a much more complimentary individual.

Try it with everything!

Try this yourself. Try it with money. Try it with acts of kindness. Try it with kind words and compliments. Try it with joy. Try it with success. If you can find a way to help someone be more successful in life, in whatever way, go for it – the success will rebound and make itself known in your own life pretty quickly.

Just like the law of attraction, the law of reciprocation is exactly that … a law. It doesn’t depend on you being a particular kind of person, or having had successes in certain areas of your life in the past. It just works, exactly the same way the law of gravity just works. If you throw a tennis ball you know it will travel in a parabola, gradually reaching out for the earth. Gravity will draw it downwards, inevitably. It will never just float away. And if you lose your balance walking along a narrow parapet outside the fifteenth floor of a building, it won’t matter that you are basically a good person. You will fall, and you will head straight for a sudden and catastrophic meeting with the earth, regardless. The law of gravity is exactly that … a law. It obeys rules. It doesn’t care if you’re good or bad. Or if you meant to lose your footing. Doesn’t make any difference whether you’re a nice person or a master criminal; if you fall, you’re going down!

The laws of attraction and reciprocation are just as dependable. Once you start things in motion in a certain way, certain things will happen. It’s not conjecture … it’s not wishful thinking … it’s not dependent on your religion or the lack of any religion. Certain things will happen, no matter what. And now you know that, feel freer of your old habits – feel fee to become more generous, more caring, more loving, more compassionate. It’s not just a great way to live, it will pay you back so richly it will take your breath away!
