Exploring Potential in Personal Development

Would you help a stranger?

What would you do?

A young lady, a total stranger, is struggling to change a flat tyre. People walk past, barely noticing. Occasionally one of them offers to help, but most just carry on walking. Nothing unusual in this scenario, right? But would you stop and offer help to this stranger? Would you even notice she was in distress?

Well, this scenario was played out two different ways, using an attractive actress, to see if people would be more willing to help her out if she was dressed in western attire, or in traditional muslim attire.

How about if the stranger was a muslim?

Stranger in need

Of course, it shouldn’t make any difference at all. If someone needs help and you’re able to offer assistance, the decent thing to do is to offer to help out. You could even regard it as an opportunity to express your willingness to help a stranger in need. Or maybe an opportunity to express your gratitude for being able to deal with the situation successfully. Either way, it’s a chance to do the decent thing.

Well … did it make any difference, the way she was dressed? Check out the video to find out.
